This track was partially inspired by a novella called, "The Farmer's Daughter" along with another poem called, "Larson's Holstein Bull
both works by the author Jim Harrison.

She had a Christian mother.
She had a father who was a farmer's son.

She was the farmer's daughter.
Had a lover ten years older.
She died when she was only 21

That's what the whole town called her.
She dreamed of going farther though they said she never would.

Her name was Jenny, not a girl out there smarter.

It's really too bad that she died so young.
At the same age I am 21.
